“HARD WORK PAYS OFF”—IT’S IN OUR BLOOD

“Hard Work Pays Off”—It’s in Our Blood If there’s one thing my brother Jorik and I undeniably share, it’s discipline. We were raised on it, we train with it, and we live by it. As Jorik always says: “Hard work pays off.” And that’s exactly what I’m counting on. I’m already setting my sights on the 2026 World Championships in Prague—but let’s be honest, there’s one dream that shines even brighter: The Milan-Cortina Olympic Games 2026 is where I want to make my mark, deliver the performance of a lifetime, and truly shine on the world’s biggest stage.

I really do have the discipline to work hard, so Jorik is always pushing me. Pushing me to get stronger, to get more flexible, to jump higher and turn faster and the results show that it is working out.  We definitely hold on to our motto “Hard work pays off”. Let's see if that gets me up that final step.
