Loena’s road to the Olympics continues in Beijing

Exciting news! Loena will soon take the ice at the OWG Figure Skating Qualifying Competition 2025 in Beijing, China. This event is her chance to grab one of the few remaining tickets for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

On Tuesday, September 16, she will fly to Beijing with her coach, Jorik Hendrickx. After a long recovery from medical treatment, Loena is finally back in strong shape, feeling healthy, motivated, and confident about her programs.

“I’m feeling great and can’t wait to perform in Beijing,” Loena says. “This is such an important step toward the Olympics, and I hope to make Belgium proud on the ice.”

Now more than ever, she hopes her Belgian fans will keep their fingers crossed and cheer her on from home. Every bit of support means the world!
